MILAN, Illinois – The second annual Medical Cannabis Expo will be held on October 5th, 2017 from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the Stern Center in the District of Rock Island.
Illinois legalized cannabis based products for the exclusive use of medicinal purposes with a State issued medical card in 2014. Chronic pain, PTSD and Cancer are just a few legally justifiable conditions the State of Illinois has authorized for uses of the Cannabis products. The Medical Cannabis Expo is a public event which focuses on the education of the medicinal benefits of cannabis based products as well as the proper processes a patient must follow in order to receive their medical cannabis card. The Expo will feature instructional information on the medical card process, usage and benefits of the Cannabis products. For patients who wish to start the State medical card process immediately, a finger printing station will be available on-site at the Expo.
The Medical Cannabis Expo, hosted by Nature’s Treatment of Illinois, began last year and is planned to be annual event. The event is intended for Illinois patients who are seeking information on the usage, benefits and processes required for Medical Cannabis use, which is now legal in the State of Illinois for authorized conditions. There are 40 conditions in which the State of Illinois has authorized for Medical Cannabis use, a prescription is not required, this information and more will all be covered at the Expo. Patients can speak directly with local experts about the Medical Cannabis card issuance process along with the usage/benefits the Cannabis Products.
The Medical Cannabis Expo is held at the Stern Center (1713 3rd Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201), on October 5th, 2017 from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM and is open to anyone interested in attending 18 years of age and up.
